We’ve heard good things about these folks!
Our apologies, due to problems with the Events Calendar page, we will temporarily list events in the main page section.
I’m pleased to announce that the winners of the WSBA Scholarship Award are Ryan Guilfoile and Jackie Correia from North Seattle Community College. The award was $500.00. Congratulations to the students and we look forward to more outstanding performance from both of them!

NEEDS YOU!
We have some changes in the officer line-up this year. Jeannie Jazuk-Dunn, after many years of service to the WSBA, is stepping down as Treasurer. Our own hardworking and talented Corrie Schumacher of Unisyn Medical, will transition from Secretary to Treasurer. President, Mark Ruark, will stay on another year, as (in the yet to be created position) Immediate Past President and Jeff Schweer will step into the President position from President-Elect. We also have the dedicated and talented Sandy Whyte staying on as Symposium Chair and the awesome Dennis McMahon is assuming the Education Chair side of things. Geoff McAlpin has agreed to continue as Webmaster and Russell Elledge will keep turning out our fantastic meeting videos.
To sum up, the following officers positions are available with the Washington State Biomedical Association:
If you have an interest in serving or know someone who does, please let me know by replying to president@bmet.org or visit the nomination form (you must be registered on bmet.org)
Instead of having to download a form, fill it out, then send it back to me (the webmaster) then wait for me to copy/paste the information into another form to be posted to the website, I have streamlined the process. Now, if you have a job listing you would like posted, you can visit the online form linked from the job listings page. If you do wish to post a job listing, you will have to register with the website. This was done to help reduce the amount of spam that would have otherwise been sent to the form. After the form is submitted, it will be reviewed then posted.
Hopefully, with the way the job market is right now, we will start to get some jobs up very soon.
