Fluke’s interactive webinar discussion will attempt to address such questions as: 

• Training Budget—are you serious?
• When do I have time for training?
• How can I be sure my staff has actually received training or completed training?
• How can I bring my newest staff up to speed in the shortest time?

NSCC Scholarship Winners !

The Washington State Biomedical Association (WSBA) and North Seattle Community College (NSCC) are proud to announce the winners of this year’s Scholarship awards:

Each year the WSBA and NSCC leaders select two deserving students to receive $500 scholarships. These scholarships are funded by the members of the WSBA.  One of the key missions of the WSBA is to promote educational opportunities in the Healthcare Technology field.

WSBA Annual Meeting

November 2011

Thank-you Philips!

 The WSBA held its annual membership meeting on November 16th. 

This was an excellent WSBA annual event hosted by Philips Healthcare at their Bothell facility.  The event was a great opportunity to socalize, network, share a meal, hold a business meeting, elect officers, and present awards and prizes.  Despite the wet weather, we had a great turnout.

Elections were held and the officers for 2012 will be the following:

 Some WSBA members have shown an interest in the formation of a CBET Study Group in the Seattle area. Are you interested? If so,  There will be an exploratory kickoff meeting on Saturday November 5th. Let’s  see what the interest level is, and how such a group might  operate. If interested, the details are below. Even if you cannot attend this meeting, you should contact Michael if you are interested to help determine if  there is enough local interest to kick it off.
