A New Year

We’re off to a great start with our first meeting which was held January 20th at Swedish Medical Center’s Ballard campus. Thank you to the folks at Swedish!
I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our new President-Elect, Jeff Schweer. I’d also like to thank Sandy Whyte, Corrie Schumacher, Jeannie Jazuk-Dunn and Geoff McAlpin for agreeing to stay on for another year and keep things running smoothly.
Your officers have been discussing ways of encouraging more member participation and we would like your feedback on these ideas:
- Holding meetings on Fridays instead of Wednesdays
- Video taping meetings for web broadcast
- Rolling the annual meeting in with the symposium
- Holding a CBET study class
I also wanted to take a moment and give a belated “Thank you!” to Philips for once again hosting the annual meeting at their Bothell facilities.
