Washington State Biomedical Association

The WSBA February meeting was held at Evergreen Hospital. Modern Medical Systems, which provides biomedical services to the hospital, hosted the meeting and provided dinner. Johnny Shuffield, District Service Manager, brought Brett Taggart, Service Support Account Manager, Pauline Sprague, Sales Representative, and Larry Hetzer, Service Technician, with him to give a presentation on the PM process for the 3080/3085 surgical table. Brett Taggart flew all the way out from Montana!  He gave a short talk on Steris’ Just-in-Time and Pro-Support service programs.

President Sandy Whyte opened the meeting and introduced the new incoming board members. Also in attendance from the board were Corrie Schumacher, Secretary, and President -Elect, Mark Ruark.

Steris surgical-table technician, Larry Hetzer, gave an interesting and informative talk on the 3080/3085 table, starting with an overview of the table itself. Then he discussed the PM process. A 3085 table was available so that members had an example of the systems Larry was discussing.
